Data Deletion Policy

You can delete your content at any time. This page explains exactly what happens when you do.
What you can delete
Individual photos, videos, voice recordings, and journal entries.
Full memories (which include all media attached to them).
Entire profiles (including every memory created under that profile).
Your full account and every piece of data associated with it.
What happens when you delete
Delete a photo or file: it is removed from active storage immediately and the link from your memory is removed.
Delete a memory: the journal entry and all attached photos, videos, and voice recordings are removed.
Delete a profile: the profile and every memory created under that profile are removed, along with associated AI-generated content.
Delete your account: all profiles, memories, files, AI-generated content, and account records are removed.
Backups and retention
Active storage: deleted content is removed immediately.
Encrypted backups: deleted content may persist in rolling backups for up to 30 days before being fully purged.
Aggregated, non-identifiable usage metrics may be retained for service operation.
How to request deletion
In the app: Settings → Delete My Data, or Settings → Delete My Account.
By email: privacy@rememberforeverai.kr — include the email address on your account.
We respond to verified deletion requests within 30 days.
